Debt Acquisition / Assignment

Sometimes the creditor no longer wants to pursue the file: they want out of the risk. Assignment (sale / transfer of the claim) means transferring the right to demand payment. We assess whether such a transfer is possible and appropriate. We do not automatically buy every receivable and we do not publish a standard price here.

01

When a creditor may prefer assignment

When internal resources no longer stretch, when the book is old or mixed, or when you want the exposure closed in the accounts rather than recovery continued in your name. The alternative remains a recovery mandate (amicable or legal): there you stay the creditor.

Debtor liquidation is a distinct situation; it has its own guide. We do not treat claim acquisition as recovery from a liquidation procedure.

02

What we assess

Not every invoice is eligible. At a preliminary level we look at the basis, age, documents, the debtor and whether the right can be transferred. Value — if we get that far — depends on the file, not on a percentage announced on the page. A decision not to buy is a normal outcome of the review.

Eligibility: what can be assigned, what cannot

03

If we go further: a discussion of terms, not a liquidity promise

03

Collection versus acquisition

In collection, you remain the creditor: we pursue payment for you. In assignment, the right passes if the parties agree and the formalities allow it; from then on recovery belongs to the assignee. The transfer, when it happens, follows a contract and notice to the debtor where the law requires it — without turning this page into a civil-code commentary.

You want an assessment, not a promise to buy

Send a list of claims and the basic documents. We will say what we can review and whether assignment is a realistic path — or whether a recovery mandate remains the better fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you buy every receivable?

No. We assess eligibility. A decision not to buy is a normal outcome. There is no purchase commitment before the review.

What does assignment mean, briefly?

Transfer of the right to demand payment, if the parties agree and the formalities allow it. After the transfer, recovery belongs to the assignee. Under a recovery mandate you remain the creditor.

What types of claims do you look at?

Mainly documented commercial claims. Each list is reviewed. We do not publish a purchase percentage here.

How much do I receive and how fast?

We do not promise liquidity and we do not announce a payment deadline. If the file passes review, terms are discussed on that matter. Otherwise, recovery in your name remains the path.

Is this the same as recovery from liquidation?

No. Debtor liquidation has its own rules and a dedicated article. Acquisition of claims is a transaction between assignor and assignee, if it happens.
